Austin Powers and The Cable Guy are some of my favorite comedies of all-time. Seeing Jim Carrey and Mike Meyers reprise their roles was a blast to see. Even if it came at the cost of a large, corporate advertisement. Dr. Evil and his henchmen are turning a new leaf and becoming good for GM... just until they save the world from climate change. Then, they can once again try to take it over! Chip Douglas has a much simpler goal. He simply wants to hang out, NO BIG DEAL! The Verizon ad is simple and straight-forward. Although I can't help but miss a cameo by Mathew Broderick. Overall, these were fantastic returns for the characters and it makes me more excited by a potential sequel for at least Austin Powers. Let's get Austin Powers 4 already!
